Who We Are

Welcome! We’re a mother-daughter team passionate about events, especially weddings. We believe in the importance of gathering with our family, friends, and community, and we are SO lucky to help people coordinate some of their most important gatherings — their weddings! We want brides and mothers of brides to fully experience the wedding day celebration, so we started Evergreen Ever After. We’re based in the Pacific Northwest, and our namesake is inspired by the evergreen trees in our backyards and the wooden, evergreen tree cutouts Kellie’s Grampa made for her December wedding!

When we’re not holding a clipboard on wedding day, you’ll find us exploring the PNW and beyond! Our favorite trips together include Yellowstone National Park, Ireland (especially Dingle & Killarney), and of course, pacific northwest gems like Cannon Beach. And after an adventure, nothing beats a cozy night in watching a Hallmark movie.

Our Story

Evergreen Ever After began as we reflected on Kellie’s wedding reception. We planned it together, curating a vision and completing DIY projects. It turned out beautifully, but we were the coordinators at our own event, answering questions, communicating with vendors and carefully watching the clock all throughout the celebration.

We decided to put our event coordination expertise to use so brides and mothers of brides who want to take charge of their own planning can still be purely a bride and a mother of the bride on wedding day! So, be present for your day and celebrate with your people — we’ll take care of the details.

  • Lead Coordinator

    Based in Bellingham, WA

    Susan brings over 20 years of experience coordinating events — from large-scale fundraisers to beautifully themed birthday celebrations. Known as the go-to organizer and delegator among her friends and colleagues, she loves planning everything from volunteer opportunities to memorable gatherings. Most recently, Susan has found joy in curating STEM events designed to inspire and empower young girls. Every event, big or small, is a chance to create connection and celebration.  Now, she’s excited to turn her passion into a business of her own!

    With a background as a project manager for a global power supply company, Susan built a career around keeping even the most complex timelines and logistics running smoothly. She brings that same precision and organization to every wedding she coordinates. She’s a little (okay, a lot) obsessed with the details; she believes they’re what turn a good day into a truly unforgettable one.

    Susan is a go-getter with a knack for DIY projects and she takes pride in crafting meaningful events on a budget. She understands the dedication it takes to plan a wedding, and she is here to support brides, and their families, who have done the heavy lifting — ready to step in and execute their vision on the big day. With Susan by your side, you can relax, be present, and fully enjoy every special moment.

  • Coordinator & Creative Strategist

    Based in Portland, OR

    Kel’s passion for event coordination began during her undergraduate studies, where she earned a certification in Entertainment, Events, & Sports Management and gained hands-on experience at local venues. Since then, she has built a diverse career working in the wedding, sports, and arts & entertainment industries — coordinating events at popular Portland wedding venues, Castaway and Blockhouse, as well as the award-winning Barn on Mullan in Missoula, MT.

    In addition to wedding coordination, Kel brings a background in storytelling and content creation to her work. With experience in content management and a degree in communication studies, she loves finding creative ways to highlight couples’ unique stories. She’s excited to continue to grow her wedding portfolio while also exploring creative roles.

    Kel’s goal is to help brides and their families breathe easy on the wedding day. She wants every couple to feel fully present, surrounded by love, and confident that their guests are having a wonderful time. With her calm presence and genuine care for her clients, Kel ensures each celebration unfolds smoothly.
